Dillsboro

Dillsboro’s central location is just minutes away from Western North Carolina’s premier attractions and activities — the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Cherokee Indian Reservation, the Nantahala River and the South’s most scenic mountains, rivers and waterfalls. In fact, right in town you can fish, kayak, walk the greenway, or just sit in the park and watch the water go by.

Downtown Dillsboro

All routes to town from the South of North Carolina remain open despite alerts you may receive from GPS applications. From the North and East, I-40 and I-26 out of Tennessee are closed approaching Asheville, however, you can approach through Knoxville and Chattanooga. Routes from Eastern North Carolina remain open and are accessible via I-26 around the affected storm areas.
