Outdoor activities include hiking, fishing, camping, paddling, cycling, and all around exploration of our amazing rivers, lakes and trails. We are the center of independent businesses and services, unique restaurants, and quality events for families and visitors.

What makes Sylva great is our community of family-owned businesses who work tirelessly to improve the quality and aesthetic of town, advocate for public art, plan events and promotions, and economic development strategies.
